WOMEN IN TOUCH FITNESS
The W.I.T. Aerobics program is a well-rounded program designed to reach the needs of women who want a fitness program in a safe, Christian environment. All aspects of fitness are addressed using approved techniques and are presented with uplifting music.
UPPER BODY: Toning and strengthening using appropriate weight for arms, chest, back and shoulders.
LOWER BODY: Toning and strengthening using DynaBands/Free weights to strengthen and tone the inner and outer thighs, hamstrings, hips and glutes.
ABDOMINALS/CORE: Toning and strengthening concentrating on all areas of the abdominal muscles and its "core" connection. Stability Ball and Play Ball are used to vary the workout.
STRETCHING to maintain and increase flexibility of all muscle groups is done after working each area and again at the conclusion of the session.
Excercising at your own level is encouraged. A "Quiet" time at the conclusion of the class allows the members to concentrate inward and pull away from the noise of the day...focusing on connecting the physical, mental and spiritual bodies.
Classes meet at James Island Baptist Church on Monday and Thursday from 6:00 - 7:15 pm. $5 per class or $8.50 per week or $32 per month.
